Just Delicious Will Close its St. Clair Shores Location February 15 To Focus on its Baking Team, Brand Sustainability and the Art of its Offerings

Roseville, Michigan, February 1, 2023 — Jen’s Scone and Treat Company announced today that the Just Delicious Bakery and Retail gift shop at 22314 Harper Ave. will close on February 15 as owner Jennifer Stockwell-Colombo and her team return their focus to the company’s flagship locations in Roseville and New Baltimore, Michigan.

“By moving our labor of love back to our Roseville and New Baltimore tea room locations, we’re bringing our team of highly talented craft bakers together again so we can make the most of our synergies and refocus our investments on our owned properties,” said Jennifer Stockwell-Columbo, owner. “While an extra location and the rapid retail growth that can come of it might be a great thing for some, we’re using the opportunity of our expanded kitchen in Roseville to focus on our team, long-term sustainability and our beloved tea-room hospitality business.”

After the Valentine’s Day rush for scones and other treats is over — and beginning on February 16 — Just Delicious bakers will work as a single team from their expanded kitchen at the Royal Treat Tea Room, located at 28750 Utica Rd, Roseville, Michigan. With the whole team present and supporting one another, they will enjoy more hands, less travel between locations and more efficiency as they continue supplying their wholesale and retail customers — and both tea rooms — with the high-quality product for which Jen’s Scone and Treat Company is renowned.

“The Royal Treat and The Pink House tea rooms have become favorites for anyone who enjoys a conversation over traditional tea and scrumptious scones in surroundings steeped in history, love, and good memories,” said Stockwell-Columbo. “Letting these magical spaces be the center of our

operations will keep us connected and inspired as we focus on providing consistently high-quality and innovative baked goods as well as excellent service to our wide range of retail, restaurant and wholesale customers.”

The St. Clair Shores location’s last day of business will be February 14, when team members will be selling last-minute Valentine’s Day gifts, including deeply discounted retail items, and giving out free scones and hot tea as a thank-you to local customers from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Just Delicious scones and treats are available in specialty markets nationwide and can be also ordered online at justdeliciousscones.com for delivery anywhere in the U.S.
